Available Sphynx Lines You Can Choose From
At Purradox Sphynxery, we’ve thoughtfully curated four distinct lines of Sphynx cats to reflect the unique preferences of our adopters. Each line is bred with a focus on health, structure, temperament, and beauty—but offers its own look, feel, and style.
The Classic Program – Preserving the Old Type Sphynx
Our Classic Sphynx kittens honor the breed’s origins with their elegant wedge-shaped heads, longer muzzles, and balanced, natural wrinkles. These “old type” Sphynx cats maintain the foundation of the breed, keeping genetics diverse and healthy.
Classic kittens are known for their loyal, calm temperaments and easygoing personalities, making them ideal companions for families seeking a traditional hairless cat with timeless beauty and excellent health lines.
The Classic Sphynx is defined by:
Longer muzzle and leaner facial structure
Large, upright ears with moderate rounding
Slightly almond or lemon-shaped eyes
Sleek, athletic body type – not overly cobby
Mild to moderate wrinkles, especially around the face and neck
Balanced proportions – not exaggerated like Modern or Ultra types
This is the “old-type” or traditional Sphynx that closely resembles the breed’s original look.

The Modern Program – The Wrinkle-Loving, Iconic Sphynx
Our Modern Sphynx kittens are the striking, wrinkled faces that most people imagine when they think “Sphynx.” With shorter muzzles, prominent cheekbones, and dramatic folds, they have an unforgettable look.
Modern Sphynx cats are playful, social, and thrive in active households, making them perfect for families who want a highly interactive companion. Their signature “alien-like” features and bold personalities make them a favorite for Sphynx lovers worldwide.
The Modern Sphynx line is the most popular among pet owners and show enthusiasts alike. These kittens are defined by:
A shorter, more rounded muzzle and well-defined stop (the dip between forehead and nose)
Large, round or lemon-shaped eyes that give a wide-eyed, baby-faced expression
Heavy skin wrinkling, especially across the face, shoulders, and limbs
A slightly stockier body with noticeable muscle tone

Ultra kittens are highly limited and often reserved months in advance, making them perfect for collectors, show prospects, and those seeking an extraordinary companion. Every Ultra kitten is bred for health, personality, and visual impact.
The Ultra Sphynx line takes the Modern look a step further with exaggerated, Persian-style features. These cats often resemble a hairless Persian and are defined by:
An extremely flat muzzle with little to no nose bridge
Super pronounced facial folds and wrinkles
Deep-set, large round eyes for a bold and dramatic look
A more compact, cobby body type with a plush, wrinkled appearance

Our DBE (Dominant Blue Eye) and Odd-Eye Program produces some of the rarest and most breathtaking kittens in the Sphynx breed. These kittens feature piercing blue or mismatched eyes combined with Classic or Modern structure for a truly unforgettable look.
This specialty program producing kittens with bright, vivid blue eyes—even in coat colors where blue eyes aren’t typically seen. This line includes both Classic and Modern facial types and is defined by:
The presence of the Dominant Blue Eye gene, which results in at least one permanently blue eye
Some kittens may be odd-eyed (one blue, one gold/green), while others have two matching sapphire-blue eyes
All kittens are genetically tested to confirm the presence of the DBE gene
DBE Sphynx kittens are extremely limited, and every pairing is selected to preserve health, temperament, and the beauty of this rare genetic trait. Each kitten is health-tested, ethically bred, and socialized from day one.

Explore Our Range of Colors, Patterns & Traits
Sphynx cat are known for their striking appearance, oversized ears, expressive eyes, and soft suede-like skin — but one of the most fascinating things about the breed is the incredible variety of colors and patterns they come in. From sleek black Sphynx cats and elegant blue tones to dramatic calicos, tabbies, odd eyes, and rare point patterns, no two Sphynx cats are exactly alike.
Although often called “hairless,” Sphynx cats actually carry pigmentation in both their skin and fine peach-fuzz coat. Their colors and patterns are genetically determined just like coated cat breeds, but because there is little to no fur to hide the markings, the details are often more visible and unique.
Sphynx cat colors can deepen, lighten, or change slightly as kittens mature. Factors such as genetics, sun exposure, hormones, and age may influence how pigmentation develops over time. Some kittens are born very pale and darken as they grow, while others may soften into lighter shades with age.
How Pricing Works / Upgrade Options
Sphynx kitten pricing can vary based on several factors, including health testing, pedigree quality, breeder investment, rarity of traits, eye color, pattern, structure, and overall breeding goals. While color and appearance may influence demand, ethical breeding practices and health-focused programs should always be the foundation of a kitten’s value.
At Purradox Sphynxery, pricing reflects the extensive care, veterinary screening, socialization, nutrition, and ongoing investment that go into responsibly raising healthy, well-adjusted Sphynx kittens. Traits such as rare colors, odd eyes, Dominant Blue Eye genetics, exceptional wrinkle development, or highly sought-after breed type may result in higher pricing due to their rarity and selective breeding requirements.
Most importantly, every kitten — regardless of color or pattern — receives the same dedication, love, preventative care, and commitment to quality throughout their development.
